Edward R. Strauss, DMD, MD
Dr. Strauss is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree from Centre College in Danville, KY, his Dental degree from the University of Louisville where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and his Medical degree from New Jersey medical school in Newark, NJ. Additionally, he completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ.

Dr. Strauss currently practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery which includes facial cosmetic surgery, minimally invasive aesthetic procedures and skin care therapy. Board Certified Licensed Aesthetician (Skin Care Specialist)

Kim has been a licensed Aesthetician since 1985 and is a Certified Laser Specialist. She graduated from the South Carolina Institute of Aesthetics in Greenville, SC. During her career, she has attended numerous courses worldwide focusing on state-of-the-art technology in skin care. Additionally, Kim attends annual Certification Courses at the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists seminars. At these seminars, Kim and other medical professionals participate in round table discussions consisting of development of the latest in the arena of skin care technologies.

Kim constantly attends continuing education courses and seminars in order to stay up to date on latest advances in skin care technology. She has advanced training with the following products and procedures: Obagi, Jan Marini, Jane Iredale, Skin Medica, Mesoestetic, Derma Sweep, Aluma, IPL Laser, Chemical Peels and many more.

The road to great skin doesn’t stop with your consultation. Kim’s philosophy is the process begins with the consultation, and then is followed by treatment, results and then maintaining positive results by future follow-up visits. Just as our skin is forever changing, so is modern technology helping us all to achieve and maintain a younger and healthier looking skin.

Kim is a native Charlestonian and enjoys everything the Lowcountry has to offer including hunting and fishing.
