The Lumenis ResurFX treatment is a skin rejuvenation solution with a fractional laser that stimulates the production of new collagen and elastic fibers in the deeper layers of the skin. Stimulating new collagen production is the key to healthier and more radiant, youthful looking skin.

The ResurFX treatment treats fine lines and wrinkles, acne and injury related scars, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation or discoloration, uneven skin tone, age spots or sun spots, loose skin, enlarged pores and more.

The ResurFX laser has microbeams which heat the deeper layers of the skin in order to stimulate the production of collagen and elastic fibers. To provide our clients with maximum comfort, we can numb the skin before treatment. It is normal to experience a warm or prickling sensation as the laser is applied to the skin, but the treatment is gentle and should not feel too uncomfortable. Immediately following treatment, you may have some redness or swelling, depending on the customized treatment settings. The swelling will go down after a few hours and the redness will go away as quickly as the next day or over the next few days. Most clients are able to resume their normal daily activities the day after treatment. It is important to stay out of direct sun for a few days and apply sunscreen regularly.

A ResurFX laser treatment can be done right after an IPL Photorejuvenation treatment, providing more of a 'wow effect'. This combined treatment is called the PhotoFabulous treatment.
