Use a sterile cold compress or chilled gauze for comfort as needed.

Do not rub the area while bathing.

Avoid hot water for a minimum of 24 hours.

Keep ointment on your skin at all times during the healing process (minimum 4 days).

No use of sauna, participation in 'hot' yoga, or strenuous exercise for 48 hours.

Do not use any exfoliants or products containing acid or alcohol.

Sun block of SPF 50 should be worn after treatment. No tanning or sun exposure.

Avoid perfumes, dust, dirt, etc.

Wash area with tepid water or dilute vinegar water 3x a day starting morning after treatment. Immediately re-apply occlusive ointment for at least 4 days.

Do not pick at any scabs or sandpaper-like skin - let it gradually slough off with washing process. Once old skin has sloughed away and new skin is healed, moisturizers and mineral makeup may be used.

Sleep on your back with head elevated to reduce swelling for the first 2-3 days after treatment.
